MWRD Rain Barrel Program
The
Cook County Metropolitan Water Reclamation District has a rain
barrel program for Cook County Residents --$40 per barrel-- limit
two per residence. Please click here for the rain
barrel registration form. Please note that residents are only
able to pick up their rain barrels one day a month from one of three
separate locations. These locations and times are:
*North
Side Plant will be 1st Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm to
7:00 pm
*Calumet
Plant will be 1st Thursday of each month at 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
*Stickney
Plant will be 1st Saturday of each month at 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
