O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission
The City of Des Plaines is a member of the O'Hare Noise
Compatibility Commission. The Vision Statement of the
Commission is to assist in developing meaningful methods of reducing
the impact of aircraft noise on our surrounding neighborhoods
through home and school sound insulation, and to reduce wherever
possible, aircraft noise at its source.
