Special Events: Day At the Races
A Day at the Races Flyer
Join the Healthy Community Partnership Foundation as they host
the 4th Annual Arlington Park Day at the Races, Noon – 5:00 pm,
Saturday, June 16, 2007. Tickets, which are $75 per person including
park admission, a daily racing program, a lunch buffet from 12:30 –
2:30 pm, open bar from 12:30 – 4:30 pm, and viewing from the
International Room overlooking the track, are available by calling
847-827-2304.
A Silent Auction and a raffle will be held on the day of the
event. The Silent Auction will be held in the International Room and
winners must be present to claim their prize. Prizes will be
available for viewing on Race Day. Raffle Prize winners need not be
present to win their prizes. Raffle tickets cost $10 per ticket and
prizes include a grand prize of $500; two prizes of $250 cash and
five $100 cash prizes.
Proceeds from the event will benefit programs supported by the
Healthy Community Partnership Foundation including Healthy Community
Healthy Youth; Intergenerational; Seasons of Service and Neighbors
Helping Neighbors. These programs represent all age groups and
continually provide service to the residents of Des Plaines.
