Special Events: Homeschool Program - Making Wool
 Home-School
Students are invited to the History Center’s monthly program on
January 17 from 10:00 - 11:00 am where they will make a project with
wool. A show and tell with some old and new wool items will be
followed by a project where students will learn to felt wool. Please
call the History Center in advance to make a reservation. The fee
for this program is 1.00/child.
Supported by the City of Des Plaines, the Des Plaines Park
District, and the Des Plaines Historical Society, the Des Plaines
History Center consists of three facilities: the Visitor Center, the
Kinder House, and the Fisher-Wright House. For more information
