Special Events: CEDA Northwest Resale Shop Grand Opening
Staff, Public Officials and residents from the City fo Des
Plaines are invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of the CEDA
Northwest Resale Shop. The Grand Opening will be held from
10:30 am - 11:30 am on Thursday, April 19 at the store located at
676 N. Wolf Road. Ribbon Cutting will be held at 11:00 am.
CEDA Northwest provides thirty services t help low and moderate
income individuals and families from the City of Des Plaines become
self-sufficient. Services range from Head Start for low-income
children to transitional housing for homeless individuals and
families. The mission of CEDA Northwest is to work in
partnership with communities to empower families and individuals to
achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.
The CEDA Northwest Resale Shop sells gently used merchandise such
as family apparel, furniture, house wares, linens, accessories, toys
and more... Store hours are Monday - Saturday from 10:00 am -
6:00 pm. Call 847-296-CEDA (2332) to inquire about
volunteering or making a tax deductible donation.
