2007 Press Release: Police Department Promotes Three Officers
For immediate release
April 6, 2007
 The Des Plaines Police Department announced
three promotions Monday, April 2, 2007, at a presentation in the
City Council Chambers. (pictured above left to right) Jim Prandini,
Des Plaines Police Chief; Mayor Tony Arredia; Matt Hicks, newly
promoted Watch Commander; Kevin O’Connell, newly promoted Commander,
Administrative Division; Timothy Veit, newly promoted Commander,
Traffic Unit; and City Clerk Donna McAllister pose for a photograph
at the formal promotional ceremony.
