2007 Press Release: Mayor Arredia Named President of Northwest Municipal Conference

Mayor Tony Arredia, newly sworn Northwest Municipal Conference President; Jill Brickman, Supervisor of Northfield Township; Jim Norris, Manager of the Village of Hoffman Estates; Karen Darch, Mayor of the Village of Barrington; and George Van Dusen, Mayor of the Village of Skokie, pose for a photograph at the Annual Banquet at the Holiday Inn North Shore.

Des Plaines Mayor Tony Arredia was officially sworn in as the President of the Northwest Municipal Conference on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at the Holiday Inn North Shore in Skokie, Illinois. Previous Des Plaines Mayors named to the Presidency include John E Seitz, 1988-1989, and Herbert H. Behrel, 1962-1963. Mayor Arredia’s year term follows that of Geroge Van Dusen, Mayor of the Village of Skokie.
