
2007 Press Release: Traffic and Fireworks Enforcement Over July 4

June 20, 3007
Des Plaines Police Chief Jim Prandini has announced that the Des
Plaines Police Department will be out over the July 4th holiday
enforcing traffic and fireworks violations. Citizens should be
reminded that the unlawful use, sale or possession of fireworks will
result in confiscation and arrest.
According to Chief Prandini, "Additional officers will
specifically respond to firework calls this year based on a large
number of complaints in previous years."
