2007 Press Release: Ceremonial Groundbreaking

For immediate release

Everleigh CondominiumsAn official groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Everleigh Condominiums in downtown Des Plaines on October 3, 2007. The $50-million contemporary-style new-construction condominium development is located on the northwest corner of River Street and Des Plaines River Road. Guests at the October 3, 2007 ground breaking ceremony at 1646 River Street included Mayor Anthony Arredia, Des Plaines governmental officials, local dignitaries, members of the development team and condominium buyers. Excavation, caisson work and foundation work and the 2-level parking garage are underway at Everleigh, according to the general contractor and architect, A. Epstein & Sons International, Inc. The first residences at Everleigh are scheduled for occupancy in autumn of 2008. The entire development is slated for completion in winter of 2008.
