The Des Plaines Fire Department welcomed four new
Firefighter/Paramedics on Monday, January 7, 2008. City Clerk Donna
McAllister issued the oath of Firefighter/Paramedic to Steve Berndt, Nick Ciaburri, Eric
Zach & Chris Moran in the City Council Chambers, Des Plaines City
Hall. (pictured above left to right) Des Plaines Fire Chief Randy
Jaeger, Deputy Fire Chief Art Zern, Mayor Tony Arredia, newly sworn
Firefighter/Paramedic Steve Berndt, Firefighter/Paramedic Nick
