2008 Press Release: Fire Department Promotions
For immediate release
January 31, 2008
 Three Des Plaines Fire Department veterans
were promoted last week at Des Plaines Fire Station #1 where the
event was celebrated with a coffee and cake reception. (pictured
above left to right) Paul Birger, promoted to Fire Department
Battalion Chief, Scott Small, promoted to Deputy Chief of
Operations, Dave Macri, promoted to Lieutenant, and Fire Chief Randy
Jaeger pose for a photograph at Fire Station #1 where the coffee and
cake reception was held.
