2008 Press Release: Grand Opening of Jewel Osco
For immediate release
February 13, 2008
 Des Plaines City Officials were on hand
last Friday, February 8, 2008, to help cut the ribbon marking the
grand reopening of the Jewel Osco, 819 Elmhurst Road. The previous
day the Jewel at Oakton and Lee Street in Des Plaines was also the
site of a ribbon cutting, marking the completion of the remodeling
of the store. (pictured left to right) 6th Ward Alderman Mark
Walsten, Secretary to the Mayor Donna Catlett, 2nd Ward Alderman
Marty Moylan, City Manager Jason Bajor and 1st Ward Alderman Pat
