2008 Press Release: Elk Grove Cheerleaders Honored at Council Meeting

Elk Grove High School Cheerleaders were recently honored at the Des Plaines City Council Meeting for being named the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Sectional Champions for the third year in a row, the IHSA State Champions for the third year in a row, the only co-ed State Champion, the only school to win three State champions and the highest score achievers in the IHSA State series. They were also the Mid suburban League Conference Champs for four years in a row.
