2008 Press Release: Fire Department Celebrates
For immediate release
May 15, 2008
There has been a lot to celebrate (anniversaries, promotions and
appointments!) at Des Plaines Fire Station 1 over the past few
weeks. (pictured above left to right) Recently appointed Engineer
Jeff Gove, recently promoted Lieutenant Tom Lewis, recently promoted
Lieutenant Gary Despaltro, Deputy Fire Chief Scott Small, Fire Chief
Randy Jaeger, recently promoted Division Chief Jeff Schuck, Engineer
Rich Gross, celebrating 20 years on the job, recently appointed
Engineer John Foy and Deputy Chief Ron Eilken pose for a photograph
following a coffee and cake reception. Friends, family and coworkers
gathered at Fire Station 1, 405 S. River Road, for the event. (Not
pictured was Battalion Chief Randy Trost , 20 year anniversary).
