Outgoing Aldermen received clocks and Mayor Arredia was the recipient of a sundial.

John Robinson is sworn in as Des Plaines 2nd Ward Alderman by Judge Bruce Lester at the May 18, 2009 City Council Meeting. Robinson will fill the vacancy occurring due to the election of Marty Moylan as Mayor. Moylan previously served as the 2nd Ward Alderman.
